With this 1966 Ferrari we had to do a complete interior. As you look down the pictures you can see the process that goes on. Not all cars are built the same but a lot of the steps that go into reupholstering them are. We first had to rebuild the padding on the wheel wells and upholster them in red leather. Every piece was hand fit and sewn together.
After the wheel wells were covered then we had to install the quarter panels. The panels are fastened to the car with stainless #4 screws.
On this car the center console sits on top of an upholstered pad. The pad and cover were laid on and fastened with snaps so it can be removed if work is needed down the line.
The finished center console.
The rear backrest and cushion are installed.
The headliner is sewn onto padding and then glued in the car. It took great care to make sure all the pleats were glued in strait and stretch the vinyl at the same time.
